Business Insight
Understanding and getting an insight into the client’s business, organization structure & culture, future growth plans and the business context for the search by meeting with key stakeholders
Position Profiling
Development of a position profile in consultation with key stakeholders, keeping in mind the organisation structure and culture. We shall share our inputs on the competitive / market environment which could influence the type of professional that the we shall look for. This process results in a candidate specification document that will be used as a reference throughout the entire search. This brief will have detailed information about the role, responsibilities, the client, key metrics and expectations, reporting and supervisory relationships apart from specifying experience, educational and other factual requirements.
Search Plan
Our project team will develop a search plan based on the agreed brief, our assessment of the talent pool through our past body of work, alternative internet sources, our network and contacts.
Industry / Company mapping
We shall develop a target list of appropriate industries, and/or companies from which to recruit, and identify appropriate levels within those companies that we should map.
Name generation / Talent mapping
Once we agree on the target industry/ company list, our research team will work on developing a long list of potential candidates, which shall be further validated.
Creation of a shortlist
The most promising of these candidates will be presented to you, as a comprehensive list of people that we intend to approach. This is achieved through an appropriate candidate identification and qualifying process.
Evaluation
Once we have arrived at a consensus in pursuing specific candidates, we shall apprise them briefly of the opportunity, understand the suitability and interest level of the candidate for the said role.
Based on the outcome of this exercise, our consultants will engage suitable candidates in an exhaustive discussion to evaluate them through face-to-face meetings or video chat or a telecon with the aim of determining a profile match between the job brief and the candidate. We may also utilize the services of senior business or HR leaders for their assessment.
Interviews and final short list
We will work with the client to narrow this down to a list of 4-6 prospective candidates who shall be interviewed by the client. We shall be presenting this list along with a detailed résumé and a profile summary to the client for their review. Indigo will co-ordinate with the client in organising interviews between the short-listed candidates and your representatives.
Based on the feedback from the client and the candidate after these discussions, we will work with the client to draw up the final shortlist.
Reference Check
Indigo will conduct a due diligence on the final candidate(s) that you wish to hire, before the offer is formally extended, should you so require.
Offer and negotiations
Indigo shall share the compensation data, with supporting documentation, of the candidate who is being considered for an offer. Indigo shall mediate in this process and try and ensure that the needs and expectations of both the parties are being met adequately. However, the client organisation will make the final hiring decision.
Follow up
Indigo Partners will assist with the integration (onboarding) of the successful candidate into the workplace – the degree of involvement shall vary based the scope of the engagement.
Indigo Partners will continue to be in touch with both the client and candidate, share constructive feedback with both sides to ensure that it is a long lasting and rewarding association.
